Young film critics get a chance in Rotterdam

(09/11/08) - The 11th IFFR Trainee Project for Young Film Critics of the International Film Festival Rotterdam offers up to six young film critics from outside The Netherlands a chance to get acquainted with the festival and the cinema of the world. Created in 1998, the project offers aspiring film critics an opportunity to explore a major film venue. Successful applicants receive a press accreditation, budget hotel accommodation between 22 January and 01 February (the dates of the festival), participations in meetings and publication on the IFFR website and guidance on how to write articles to be published in their home country. Being under 30, having a fluency in English and proven experience are two essential prerequisites. Deadline for applications is 15 November.
